Ancient Spanish Monastery: Known as the oldest building in the Western Hemisphere, the Ancient Spanish Monastery was originally built from 1133-1141 AD in Spain. The Cloisters were reassembled in South Florida in 1952. In 1964, the site was purchased by the Episcopal Diocese and consecrated as a parish church. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens: For visitors to Miami. Vizcaya is regarded as one of the largest must-see attractions. It was built as a winter vacation home by industrialist James Deering in 1916. It took Edward Leedskalnin 28 years to build the monument, which he did out of an unreciprocated love for the fiance who left him one day before their wedding.  Ed secretly carved over 1,100 tons of coral rock, and his unknown process has created one of the world’s most mystifying achievements. The Coral Castle Museum is open everyday and Coral Castle is on the National Register of Historic Places.
